I love coffee! And up until about 3 months ago, I would drink coffee everyday. I’ve had a coffee bar for a bit but it was time for a refresher, to get rid of the clutter and make it be bit easier to locate the most used items.
When we were looking for a house in 2020, one of my requirements was that it needed enough space to have a coffee bar. While our does not quite have a dedicated space for a coffee bar, I claimed a place in our dinning room to make one. After looking around a bit for the perfect sideboard/server/coffee bar, I landed on this Blake Gray & Chocolate Server from Bob’s Furniture. It has a good mix of closes and open storage.
While I coffee a latte/espresso is always my go to. But I am not enough of a coffee snob that I must have an expensive espresso maker. So after a bit of research I landed on the Mr. Coffee Espresso Machine & Steam Wand. I’ve had it for a 5 years now and never had an issue. But then I wanted to make cute designs and have my milk heated separately as it is a bit harder to clean the Steam Wand, so I purchased Milk Frother & Warmer and Pitcher Mug.
And then my friends were into tea, I’ve never really liked tea, but I figured, why not I’ll try tea. So I jumped in I purchased an Electric Tea Kettle (in purple of course) and a variety of teas Harney & Sons Tea Bag Samples.
One of my recent obsessions is City to Cottage Purple and White Polka Dot set, so of course I purchased a tea pot from them!
I wanted to hang my mugs for easy access so I purchased these cute Geometric Metal Wall Hook Mug Racks. And they fit perfectly below the shelf I installed.
Most recently I realized my mug collection is starting to over flow because I pick up a new mug every time we travel, so needed more shelving and I also wanted them to make the darker wood theme I throughout my living room and dinning room. So I found the Bergshult/Granhult shelves at IKEA, they fit my aesthetic, are super easy to install, and are the perfect size for the wall space.
Lastly I wanted a cute and fun custom sign, so of course I had to break out my Cricut and make it myself. I used my Canva to find the Organic Compound and find the perfect font. Cut the vinly on my Circut Explorer and placed it on a 11×14 Magnetic Chalk Board. And Vaila, must easier and cheaper than having someone customize a sign on Esty.
